Happy Manicure Monday!!!

Hope you all had a ricking weekend. I spent mine with my family and celebration my youngest son's 6th Birthday. Happy Birthday Ethan!! Also, my 3 boys went back to school today..wooohooo. They were very excited to return. My house is very quiet with just me and my baby girl!

I am making my way through all my hot summer colors because Fall is quickly approaching. Today I wanted to wear something HOT and makes me feel good. I went with OPI Feeling Hot Hot Hot with a leopard accent nail. I used OPI Alpine Snow and Wet n Wild Black Cream. I love animal print nails!! OPI Designer Series Opulence NOTD

                                                       

Happy Wednesday!!!

We are half way through the week and it sure has been a busy one for me. I have been very busy with school and studying. Nail Technician school isn't as easy as I first thought :-) I have been getting by very well though. Also my children start back at school on Monday so I have been getting the last minute school shopping done. Busy, busy, busy!

So, What's on my nails today? Today my NOTD (Nail of the Day) is OPI DS Opulence. I LOVE this color. It is part of the OPI Designer Series. Full coverage and perfectly opaque.  A pink mauve packed with tiny holographic glitter. Beautiful, elegant and sexy!!

In the sun. Soooo much holographic sparkle!

Indoor. Simply beautiful :-)

Pretty and Polished Pointers, Pointers

French Manicure

   Toss the tape and try a brush

The brush gives a more precise smile line!

1. Apply a base coat to the free edge

2. Apply 1 thin layer of polish

3. Dip brush in acetone

4. Give your brush a light pat on paper towel to avoid over flooding the nail

5. Swipe the brush from side to center, then side to center

6. Add a second coat of polish if needed.

7. Repeat step 5 

8. Apply top coat!

Try it on Tuesday

For today's post I am doing another Tuesday theme hosted by Jilltastic Nail Design "Try is on Tuesday" means each Tuesday we wear a polish that has been sitting around but we have not gotten the chance to wear yet. Fun? I believe so. Gives those lonely, dusty polishes some love! 


Today I went with Zoya Blyss topped with OPI Teenage Dream and an accent nail of Zoya Rory with OPI Teenage Dream! I could never say that Zoya Blyss was a dusty bottle that lacked love but she is slightly new to me. OPI Teenage Dream had sat for a month unloved and I can NOT believe I had not used it. I am in love with the sparkly holographic glitter filled goodness.
