Yummy Candy-licious Mani!!!

Obviously I am not sure what to name this mani. LOL. I was in the mood for something bright and fun, so this is my ending results. It kind of reminds me of cotton candy and I LOVE cotton candy! For the base and coverage on all the nails I used Opi Pink Friday (Happy Friday btw), Zoya Robyn for the first layer of clouds and Wet n Wild Megalast in Candy-licious for the second layer. This was my first Megalast polish. It is a newbie from Wet n Wild. I grabbed it at Walgreens for $1.99. Can't go wrong for that price. What can I say, the color caught my eye :-) This polish also has a pretty big brush that I'm not use to. They call it a "Manicurve Pro Brush". I used a toothpick for the outlining of the cloud but didn't seem to have any problem with it!

Application:
Base coat
2 coats Pink Friday
1 coat SV

Clouds:
1coat Robyn
1 coat candy-licious
A toothpick
Topped with SV

Enjoy!

Zoya Charla

Ah, Charla how I love thee!! I can best describe this color as a tropical blue sparkling metallic. A beautiful metallic shade perfect for summer. This color is from their Summer 2010 Sparkle Collection. One of my favorite metallic blues ever. It's also not a thick glitter although it definitely shines like one which is AMAZING. I have gotten so many compliments on this color every time I wear it. It reminds me of a mermaid tail in a bottle!

This is 2 coats!

Matte effect with Zoya Lotus and Maisie

I am in a Spring kind of mood today! Easter is quickly approaching us but I will probably do my nails 3 or 4 times before then. So today I went with Zoya Lotus and Maisie with Essie's Matte about you. I think the effect is pretty cool. It's unique and satisfies me for a spring look. Are you rocking Spring nails?

This photo is before Matte about you. I think its cute like this also!

Here's the effect I got!

Loreal Club Prive

I am a big fan of polish that I can grab pretty much anywhere and everywhere. I went to grab my vitamins at my local CVS minding my own business. Then bam, stopped me in my tracks when I saw this color of Loreal Paris Color Riche in Club Prive. Amazing cream color. I grabbed it when all these springtime colors were releasing and had to have it! It went on extremely smooth and perfectly. Full coverage and opaque in 2 coats. A spring must have in my book :)

Zoya Maya and Chloe

So, I was checking out the Zoya Facebook page the other day and a fellow follower had asked if anyone had a picture of Maya with Chloe Fleck Affect. I have both and I got to looking at them. They seemed like a match made in nail heaven so I had to give it a whirl! Maya is best described as a semi-opaque bright pink coral with tangerine undertones. A bright tropical coral with a translucent jelly-like finish and Chloe is a sheer coral pink base with two types of duochrome. It has mylar flakes of red-orange to gold and gold-green to blue. Wowzer! Simply beautiful!!

So here is Maya alone. This is 2 coats.

And here is 2 coats of Maya with 2 coats on Chloe!

I really love this combo. What do you think?

Zoya Skylar

Zoya Skylar from the Spring True 2012 collection is a medium steel blue with a softened, dusty look and speckled by visible gold and silver shimmer flecks. Its such a perfect name for this polish. Ooh look at those sparkles. Skylar goes on opaque in one coat but I put two on for good measure! I think it's just perfect for any season. What do you think about her?

The Hunger Games inspired mani!

Hello all,

I can finally say happy Friday. This has been a long week with the kiddos being out of school for Spring Break! But...break ends and it's back to school on Monday. We plan to end this week with going out to see The Hunger Games tonight. Anyone as excited as I am? So I decided to do a manicure inspired by the movie. The colors I used are Zoya Raven, Richelle, Trixie, and America. The orange is L.A. Color.  It turned out just "OK". I figure out it was harder to make flames than I thought. Anyone have any movie inspired mani's they want to share? Well I Hope everyone has a great weekend. Feel free to catch me on facebook!

Enjoy
