On March 31st, I made an appointment to visit the doctor about a lump on the side of my neck that had been bothering me for a couple of months. Almost immediately after meeting with the doctor, I was rushed to the hospital to be seen by specialists who could run more thorough tests. After several hours, I was officially diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a rare cancer of the lymph nodes. Needless to say, my husband and I were devastated, but we pushed forward. I met with the right people, enlisted the help of the perfect doctor, and began my chemotherapy treatments, which were 12 in total that spanned across 6 long months.

During those tough 6 months, my husband and I tried to come up with alternative ways to earn extra money so as to not be too overwhelmed with medical bills. This led to the buying and reselling of various popular nail polishes, which proved to be financially successful. After awhile, I started to enjoy the polishes myself until I became enamored with them and found myself delving into the nail polish world which brought about so many interesting styles and colors, not to mention many fellow polish collectors (some of which who have now become good friends).

It was only a matter of time before my heightened curiosity brought out the nerdy side in me as I attempted to dabble in my own polishes. Thanks to the loving support of my family, I had made the executive decision to produce and sell my very own polish, which I named Chirality (also nerdy!) and planned to launch after my final chemotherapy treatment on September 28th of 2012. Since then, my first line of polishes have come out to overwhelming success which I could not be happier about.

On October 15th, I was declared cancer-free and I could not have been happier. But will it ever come back? Who knows. What is for certain is that Chirality Nail Polish is here to stay for good and I owe it all to the cancer. I owe it for unlocking this hidden talent that I never knew was buried deep within me. My nail polish is not only for all of the beautiful women out there to use to enhance their sexiness and beauty, but also to prove the will and determination I have to be a survivor.

Dystpoia Purple gray holo! I love how subtle the purple is in this polish. The holo effect shines and sparkle throughout this shade. Another full coverage polish!
