Neons are HOT!!! China Glaze In the Lime Light

Wowza it sure is HOT today here in Arizona. It's only about 102 right not but the weekend should be a tiny bit cooler! Today I decided on China Glaze In the Lime Light. I absolutely love neon's and this one definitely brightened my day. With most neon's they give a slight matte finish which I really like. I did need to apply 3 coats to get the opacity I needed but topped it off with a top coat. I found this color at my local Sally's Beauty for around $5 a few months ago. I swatched it before and fell in love.

So, with that said what are your thoughts on neon's? Yay or Nay for a mani? Pedi only? Do tell!

Enjoy!

Zoya Wednesday with a stamped accent

What can I say...I love Zoya's colors. With this manicure I used Zoya Wednesday with tulips flower accent stamping with Sally Hansen Color Quick Pen in Pink Rose. The stamping kit is from Salon Express and I purchased it from Walmart for about $10. I used the tulips from plate # SE20. Check you local Dollar Tree for Sally Hansen. I picked up a few Color Quick Pens there a few months ago for $1 a piece. They work wonderfully for stamping. A cute yet simple mani for the Spring!

Enjoy!

Avenger Manicure

Completely inspired from the movie Avenger that is in theaters on Friday! Anyone going to go see it? Unfortunately I am unable to see it in 3D right not due to having 4 antsy young children. We will be watching it at our local Drive-In Theater! Pretty excited. This mani took me forever. About an hour and a half just to paint. I was shaky and my 3 year old was running around like a mad woman. So it probably took me longer than usual. Everything is free hand and I used all the polishes in the picture below, some polish strippers and a tool!

                                                                There you have it!!
Black Widow, Thor, Ironman, Captain America and Hulk!

Enjoy!

Zoya Spring Break Trio Review

Finally received these babies in the mail. Good Morning America and Zoya had teamed up to bring their viewers an awesome deal. I was able to get the Zoya's Spring trio for half off. I paid $12 with $2 standard shipping. Zoya also offered a $4 expedited shipping price but I have patience. I was very excited when I got them and decided to swatch all 3 last night. I was very pleased with the cute little box it came in. I think I will be leaving them in there on my rack because it'd just too darn cute!

                                                             So beautifully packaged!

Zoya Tracie

Tracie can be best described as a yellow-toned pistachio green with delicate silvery shimmer with a frosted pearl finish. I really like this color. I have recently fallen in love with many greens lately and I'm so glad this color came in the Trio. I do not think I would have purchase it on my own so I'm very glad I got it. I had some slight streaking but after the 2nd coat it was gorgeous!

Zoya Wednesday

Wednesday is a faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone with an opaque cream finish. Again, I love greens and I knew I wanted this one when I first saw it. Great formula and I had perfect opacity in 2 coats. I was slightly worried that this color would be similar to Bevin but I definitely see a difference. Wednesday is simply beautiful!

Wednesday vs Bevin

                                             Wednesday                              Bevin

Big difference. Love them both!

Zoya Shelby

My favorite of the Trio! Shelby is a soft but colorful cherry blossom pink with an opaque cream finish. Reminds me of bubble gum, pepto and happiness! Complete opacity in 2 coats. Fabulous application. Definitely will be wearing this color a lot this summer!

Enjoy!

Loreal Club Prive

I am a big fan of polish that I can grab pretty much anywhere and everywhere. I went to grab my vitamins at my local CVS minding my own business. Then bam, stopped me in my tracks when I saw this color of Loreal Paris Color Riche in Club Prive. Amazing cream color. I grabbed it when all these springtime colors were releasing and had to have it! It went on extremely smooth and perfectly. Full coverage and opaque in 2 coats. A spring must have in my book :)

Enjoy!
