Weekend Nails

Hi Lovelies,

I'm out of town and will return Monday. I have this post on "schedule post"!! I of course wanted to share with you all what I am wearing on my nails while on vacation!!

I decided on something easy and bright! I am wearing one of my most favorite Zoya's, Lola! She is a bright and vibrant almost neon pink with a slight purple iridescent glimmer to her. I LOVE LOLA!!

On my accent nail I did a cute flip flop dotticure using Zoya Lola, Mira, Creamy and Robyn. I adore this "candy" esc color combination!

So there you have it. Totally fun nails for my last vacation for the Summer. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!

Don't forget about my "Back to School" giveaway going on also....http://prettyandpolishedpointers.blogspot.com/2013/07/back-to-school-giveaway.html

Enjoy!

Hey all,

So all week I have uploaded many 4th of July inspired manicure's. Today I have put them all together in one post for easy viewing. Independence Day is just around the corner.

I'd love to see what looks you all come up with. Anyone who shares their manicure with us on my Facebook wall will be automatically entered to win a bottle of Zoya Liberty from yours truly! I'll pick one winner on the 4th. Your mani doesn't have to look fancy and professional although I will be looking for originality, effort and creativity.

1 winner
US residents only
Ends 7/4 at 3pm MST

Congrats to Lena on winning our mini 4th of July giveaway. It was such a tough decision that I had my children help me pick our winner. They loved the water marbling and said it looked like 4th of July candies :-) All of your designs were amazing and I thank each and every one of you for participating!

Born Pretty Store

Who doesn't love fun and trendy nails?!?! However, who doesn't love EASY, fun and trendy nails? Everyone!!

Today I am showing you some adorable and easy to use bows from The Born Pretty Store to add to your nails. These 3D Hot Cute Sweet Candy Color bow-knots made of resin come in 4 fun shades. (baby pink, baby blue, white and black) Each bow also has a tiny clear rhinestone in the center to add an extra sparkle. Just add a dot of nail glue or acrylic to your polished nails, then POW, an instant beauty bonus!

In my manicure I used a dot of clear acrylic for added strength to the adhesion of the bows. Works well with nail glue too. The bows lasted long, stayed shiny and the best part is that they are reusable. I just popped them off of the acrylic and swiped a bit of acetone to where the polish stuck and went on my way. The bows also look slightly bulky on me but rest assured, tiny hands do come with my 4'11" self and the bows where never in the way. These are PERFECT!

I love the color combination of black and blue and was dying to show you all the bows in this shade!

Vintage Flowers w/dots and stripes

Happy Hump Day,

We are half way through the week and why not put an extra pep in our step with some fun nails. Today I am wearing a "vintage" flower design with added stripes and dots. For this manicure I used Zoya Bevin, Zoya Josie as leaves, FingerPaints Blank Canvas cream and FingerPaints Hip Hip Hue-Ray white striping polish.

I have been in a flower mood lately. Do you have any other flower themed nails you would like to suggest for me to try? Comment here or on this Facebook post! Hope you all have a great rest of your week.
