Sally Hansen HD Laser: Try it on Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!

This week is moving right along. I have a busy week of school ahead of me so today is my Monday! I am officially a little over half way through with Nail Technician school and I LOVE it. I have learned so much these past 4 months and I want to give a big shout out to my instructors at Academy of Nail Technology in Phoenix, Arizona. If any of you readers happen to live in my area, PLEASE stop bye even if it's just to say hi. We are opened to the public so you can always stop on by for a mani/pedi!!

Another person I would like to shout out to is Tish at Pretty Face Happy Bank. A few months ago I had won second place in her Sweet as Sugar Skull Nail Art Contest. See my mani HERE! This is where I had received today's Polish Star!!!! Sally Hansen HD Laser is a HUGE shocker. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Laser is a purple/blue duo-chrome. Very tough to capture the wonderfulness in photo's. Again THANK you Tish!!! This one is amazing :-)

Try it on Tuesday ....... OPI A Grape Fit

                                    

Purple, purple, purple. uhhh I love PuRple!!! I have owned OPI A Grape Fit for a few months. Poor little thing has been sitting in my "client polish" bag. I have had a few clients request it but I have not gotten around to wearing it myself. Do not ask me why because it must mean that I am crazy. This is an amazing dusty, mid-toned, pastel purple cream. Amazing application and opacity. i do believe this color will be going on my toes very soon. Definitely before Fall :-)

Psst....P.S. Anyone notice that I rounded out my nails? Probably not but it's something VERY new to me. I have always been a square/squoval kind of girl!!!

Matte effect with Zoya Lotus and Maisie

I am in a Spring kind of mood today! Easter is quickly approaching us but I will probably do my nails 3 or 4 times before then. So today I went with Zoya Lotus and Maisie with Essie's Matte about you. I think the effect is pretty cool. It's unique and satisfies me for a spring look. Are you rocking Spring nails?

The Hunger Games inspired mani!

Hello all,

I can finally say happy Friday. This has been a long week with the kiddos being out of school for Spring Break! But...break ends and it's back to school on Monday. We plan to end this week with going out to see The Hunger Games tonight. Anyone as excited as I am? So I decided to do a manicure inspired by the movie. The colors I used are Zoya Raven, Richelle, Trixie, and America. The orange is L.A. Color.  It turned out just "OK". I figure out it was harder to make flames than I thought. Review Zoya Jana

Happy Thursday!

It has been a while since I have posted on here. Just getting a hold on my facebook page. I wanted to get a post up regarding a beautiful polish that is simly one of my favorites. Zoya Jana from Smoke and Mirrors Fall 2011 collection. I fell in love with this color. It's warm with purple, mauve and grey tones. Its opaque for me in 2 simple coats. Application is smooth and amazing.
