Pretty and Polished Pointers, Pointers

Today a fellow blogger had asked a general question. What would be recommended for dry fingers and cuticle, especially if you have sensitive skin?

I have mostly used organic olive oil or coconut oil.

Olive oil is rich in vitamins A, B-1, B-2, C, D, and Iron. Coconut oil is a great skin moisturizers as well and has many other benefits along with it. They are pretty cheap considering the price of those expensive store bought cuticle treatments. These items are know for keeping your nails strong and less brittle. I find these at any local grocery store for around $4.

2 ways to apply:

Using daily, wet a cotton ball and rub on to cuticle and surrounding areas
Weekly, a warm oil soak for 15 minutes

Oooooh Silky smooth :)

  1. ah! a cotton ball to apply the olive oil. i always end up spilling the oil all over. now i can be more percise. and wow, a 20 min warm soak sounds so decadent and lovely. i need to do that. thank you for posting these tips for my tips!
